 Mission: Wolf is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational wolf sanctuary in the remote Colorado mountains. Through volunteer internships and hands-on experiential education, M:W inspires individuals to become stewards of the earth. Mission: Wolf was built by volunteers and remains funded by individual donors; fundraisers like this one enable M:W to provide a safe and happy home to rescued wolves and wolf-dogs. Often I went to talks about wolves given by Tracy and Kent.  They would bring one or two of the wolves that they rescued along to the talks. One time they asked me if I would like to come with them while they gave some exercise for a young wolf they were bringing to their talks.  So they let the young wolf out of the bus and off-leash into a fenced area around tennis courts.   I ran around inside the tennis courts, and the the wolf followed me.   He would drop back when I slowed down.  He came closer when I ran faster.  It was so neat!
